Here is an amazing ginseng root found recently in the North Carolina Smoky Mountains. We are told it was on a steep decline, mid mountain area. This particular root is years and years old!

We spoke with the owner and he was more than happy to let us share his pics.

Here is some FAQ on NY Ginseng

Collection: You can only collect Wild ginseng between September 1st and November 30th of any year in NY State?

Purchasing: Prohibited between the 1st day of january and the 31st day of August.

Dry Ginseng: May not be purchased or sold between April 1st to Sept 15th in any year unless previously weighed and recorded by the State by March 31st.
